The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has surfaced on Geekbench. This basically confirmed some of the phone’s specs, while it also showed us its benchmarking scores, of course.

The Galaxy A53 5G appeared on Geekbench

The Galaxy A53 5G, for those of you who are out of the loop, is the company’s upcoming mid-range smartphone. The device managed to score 686 points in the single-core, and 1,874 points in the multi-core benchmark.

This listing, which surfaced today, by the way, also confirms that the device will include 6GB of RAM. It is possible that Samsung also ends up offering an 8GB RAM variant, we’ll see.

Android 12 is also mentioned here, while we can also conclude that the Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC will fuel the device. That is an octa-core processor, and a really compelling one. It is one of the best mid-range offerings from Qualcomm.

The design of the Galaxy A53 5G surfaced last month. The phone appeared in CAD-based renders, which basically confirmed what the phone will look like. And it’s exactly what you expect, pretty much.

A flat display is expected, with a display camera hole

It will include a flat display on the front, with thin bezels. The bottom bezel will be thicker than the rest, while a display camera hole will be a part of the picture, and it will be centered.

It seems like four cameras will be included on the back. There are five cutouts on the back, while one is reserved for an LED flash. In fact, it’s possible that three cameras will sit back there, and that one of those black cutouts is reserved for sensors, that’s an even more probable outcome.

The phone won’t include an audio jack, but it will offer a Type-C USB port at the bottom. A loudspeaker will also be included down there, while all of the phone’s physical buttons will sit on the right.

The device is expected to feature a 6.5-inch fullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 on top of it. A 64-megapixel main camera has also been rumored, but nothing has been confirmed just yet. The device is expected to arrive in Q1 2022.
