Sennheiser has launched its latest pair of true wireless earbuds, the Momentum Sport, which are now available. These were initially announced back in January at CES 2024, alongside the Momentum 4 earbuds and a new wireless headset. The Momentum Sport retail for $329.95 and there are two color options, Graphite and Olive.
Designed for more active lifestyles, the Sport in the name isn’t just there for show. The Momentum Sport actually comes with heart rate sensors to track your heart rate while you exercise. There’s a body temperature sensor in there too. The body temperature sensor is intended to help you measure your body temperature so you can keep an eye on the optimum target range for your workout. This is so users can avoid overheating and getting increased fatigue.
Of course, these are sport earbuds so they’re also sweat-resistant. They have an IP55 rating which means they’re resistant to sweat and water. But they’re not sweat or waterproof. So you can’t submerge them. Additionally, they have a shockproof case so they should be safe if you were ever to drop the case while the earbuds are inside.
The Sennheiser Momentum Sport are available from retail partners and directly from Sennheiser
As with all Sennheiser products you can pick these direct from Sennheiser. But you can also grab them from retail partners like Amazon. You are also likely to get them a little faster depending on where you buy them. For instance, if you were to order from Amazon you might be able to get them either the same day or overnight. This is usually the case if you live close to a distribution center.
You can get them at Best Buy as well and have them ready for local pickup or just shipped out. The Momentum Sport have a listening time of up to 6 hours on a single charge, so they’re right on par with the majority of true wireless earbuds out there. You can also extend that time with the charging case which will push the battery life out to a total of 24 hours. The case supports supports Qi wireless charging, too. So there’s never really a need to plug them in. Although using the wired charging option is going to be faster.
