Another big TV series has now set its release date in select Netflix countries. Multiple seasons of the long-running CBS crime procedural drop on March 1st, 2024.

We first got word that a number of high-profile classic shows from the US were headed to Netflix internationally in January 2024. These include House MD, which has now been released in certain regions on February 1st; Law & Order, set to arrive in mid-February; and others still to come, including Parenthood, NCIS, and Psych.

CSI, for those unfamiliar, is a procedural forensics crime drama that aired on the US network CBS between 2000 and 2015 across 15 seasons and 337 episodes. Created by Anthony E. Zuiker, the show kickstarted an entire franchise, which is still active to this day, with CSI: Vegas returning for its third season in 2024.

Now, for the first time in most cases, the show is bound to Netflix and is set to arrive on March 1st.

Among the regions we’ve spotted getting CSI are Australia, the United Kingdom, select European territories, and Latin American countries like Brazil.

It’s currently unclear how many seasons of the show are Netflix-bound. When we see shows with more seasons than most and particularly when they’re procedural, we don’t necessarily get season 1 onwards. In the case of Law & Order just recently, only a handful of the later seasons are being added.

Will CSI: Crime Scene Investigation be on Netflix US?

One of the main regions not getting CSI is Netflix in the United States. Long-term subscribers of Netflix will know that the US did once stream two spin-offs, but they both left the service in the mid-to-late 2010s.

In the US, you can watch CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and its various spinoffs completely on Paramount+, with the main show and the New York spin-off also streaming on Hulu.

Finally, for those in the US (and everywhere else), you do have some new Ted Danson content to look forward to, with a new Netflix Original comedy series in development called A Man on the Inside where Danson will reteam up with Michael Shur following The Good Place.
