A well-known audio product company, Sennheiser, made an appearance at CES 2024 too, and introduced some new audio products. Sennheiser unveiled three new pairs of earphones/headphones, some for athletes, and some for audiophiles.
Sennheiser announced new headphones for athletes & audiophiles
Let’s kick things off with the only pair of over-ear headphones that the company announced. The Sennheiser ACCENTUM Plus is the name of the product, and what’s interesting is that these headphones are more affordable than the two new pair of earphones.
The ACCENTUM Plus headphones bring some premium improvements over the existing ACCENTUM headphones. These headphones have touch controls on the sides. So you won’t have to deal with physical buttons anymore.
On top of that, ANC is included, and it adapts to the level of noise around you. Bluetooth multipoint feature is included here, as is wind-reduction. On top of that, an adjustable side tone feature is also packed into these headphones.
Sennheiser will also include an audio cable with these headphones, for wired listening, if you need it. These actually seem much more compelling than other ACCENTUM headphones from the company. They’re priced at $229.95, and are coming in Black and White color options. You’ll be able to purchase these headphones starting from February 20.
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 earbuds come in three color options
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 earbuds are the second product announced at CES 2024. These are rather compelling earphones with a boxy case. They do offer Bluetooth 5.3 with support for Auracast.
The Qualcomm S5 Gen 2 platform powers these earphones, while the Snapdragon Sound for aptX lossless sound and ultra-low latency is supported. ANC has been improved here too, and the same goes for battery life.
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 earphones can be yours for $299.95 from February 15 (pre-orders). Do note that they’re coming in Black Copper, Metallic Siler, and Graphite color options.
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM Sport earphones are a part of the company’s entirely new lineup
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM Sport earphones are the last on the list here. They are also the most expensive ones. These are actually a part of the company’s new lineup of earbuds with biometric feedback for athletes.
They come with a photoplethysmography (PPG) heart rate sensor and a body temperature sensor. These can output real-time data to various well-known fitness apps, such as Garmin Connect, Strava, and Apple Health.
They minimize footstep noise, breathing, and other body-borne noise. They do offer a semi-open design and have an adjustable Transparency mode. Anti-wind mode is also included, and the same goes for an Adaptive Noise Cancelling mode.
They do have wings on them, as you can see, so that they can stay firmly in your ears. The Sennheiser MOMENTUM Sport earbuds are IP55 certified for water and sweat resistance. The charging case is IP54 certified.
These sporty earphones are also the most expensive ones Sennheiser announced at CES 2024
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM Sport earbuds are priced at $329.95, and are coming on April 9. They come in Polar Black, Burned Olive, and Metallic Graphite colors.
