Samsung has once again brought back its Galaxy Reserve promo for the launch of the Galaxy S24, which Samsung announced will happen on January 17. Galaxy Unpacked will take place in San Jose this year instead of heading back to Korea.

With Galaxy Reserve, you are able to “reserve” your new phone by giving Samsung your name and email address. Once the devices go up for pre-order – which is likely on January 17 – you will get your code to use that will get you $50 off of your purchase. But remember that Galaxy Reserve is not a commitment to purchase a new phone. So if you’re on the fence about it, it’s still a good idea to sign up.

To sign up with Galaxy Reserve, head to this link. From there, you’ll be asked to provide your first and last name, as well as your email address. You can provide your phone number, but that is optional. Now with this credit, you will get up to $1,20 in savings when you “pre-order the newest phone from Galaxy.” That likely means that Samsung is doing up to $970 in trade-in credits this time around.

Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed the name of the new device, but given the time of the year, the leaks, and Samsung’s history, it’s pretty likely that it will be the Galaxy S24 series.

Galaxy AI is coming January 17

Currently, we’re just days away from Samsung’s press conference at CES, which we are expecting to be all about AI, given the invite that they’ve sent out. Galaxy Unpacked is teasing “Galaxy AI” quite a bit, too. And that’s just nine days after their CES press conference. So it’s pretty fair to assume that Samsung is going all in on AI this year. To be honest, everyone is.

However, one of the things that Samsung is teasing on the Galaxy Reserve page is “Zoom with Galaxy AI is coming.” So it sounds like they are taking Space Zoom to the next level with AI. Maybe we’ll finally get some better Space Zoom photos from these phones. We’ll have to wait and see.
