Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, has announced a new logo for the company’s MIUI replacement, HyperOS. He went to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share the news with everyone. The same info was shared via Weibo, for Chinese users, and via Xiaomi’s official social media networks.

That being said, if you check out the image above, you’ll see the new logo. Lei Jun says that this logo represents a “galaxy of dots”. Those dots are “swirling together like ideas and connections in our digital universe”.
He also added that “People and devices in the dot matrix are flowing freely and connecting seamlessly in our HyperOS world, like stars in the real universe”. That’s a rather poetic way to describe this change, but it’s on par with what we expected.
The company also announced a new list of 80 devices that will get the update
With that in mind, Xiaomi has also announced a new list of devices that will get a HyperOS update. At first, the company shared only 8 devices that will get the update. Well, now the second batch has been announced, and there are 80 devices on it. That means 88 devices in total are going to get the update. Do note that this list is exclusive to China, for now. The initial 8-device list is relevant for global models too.
There are both Xiaomi and Redmi devices listed here, and the rollout will kick off at some point in the first half of 2024. Newer and more popular devices will get the update first, and then everyone else. The rollout will be staged, of course.
