Analogue is back with another round of limited-edition Pocket handhelds, this time with the Classic Edition units. These are all based on color-matched releases of the Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance, and they’re some of the most vibrant releases that Analogue has put out yet. You’ll be able to purchase the Classic Edition starting on November 17. With the sales page going live at 8am PST.

Analogue also promises that units will begin shipping out to buyers on November 20 so it shouldn’t be long before yours shows up on your doorstep or in your mailbox. As always of course, be prepared to fight tooth and nail for one of these handhelds. Even the standard Black and White variants (which come back in stock from time to time, but rarely) have been notoriously hard to get a hold of. You can probably amplify that by ten times with these limited-edition releases. Since they only get one run and are never released again.

The Analogue Pocket: Classic Edition will come in eight colors

Analogue tends to do something a little different each time with its super limited variants. Its Transparent Edition releases had seven colors. While the Glow in the Dark Edition came in a single color. For the Classic Edition, you can choose between Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Pink, Orange, Indigo, and Silver.

Each one is limited to two per order. Likely in an attempt to try and curb scalpers as much as possible. Just like the other limited versions these will retail for $249.99 each which is about $30 more than the Black and White models. If you aren’t able to score one of these when they go live on the 17th, don’t fret. There will undoubtedly be other chances to get a Pocket. It just won’t be any of these colors unless it comes from a third-party reseller or someone buys it for you.

That being said, Analogue seems to have been releasing new versions a little more consistently these days. The Glow in the Dark model came out September 1 while the Transparent models came out September 29. And here we are a month and a half later and a new round of highly limited versions are releasing tomorrow.

So there is a chance a new set of limited-edition colors will come out before too long.
