The Hitman series is set to get its next game on Android with the launch of Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal, which is dropping for mobile devices and Nintendo Switch later this year. The game will officially come to Android as well as iOS devices, and the Nintendo Switch family of handhelds. The publishing is behind handled by Feral Interactive which has a hand in bringing many other beloved games to the mobile platform. For instance, Feral handles all the publishing on Android for games in the Total War series. As well as XCOM 2, Alien Isolation and more.
Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal will be more than just a remastered version of a classic title. While it will have some refined graphical improvements, it’ll also boast new features. This includes a new ‘Instinct Mode,’ as well as a new minimap that’s constantly on-screen. So you get a little bit of an advantage in knowing where things are at all times.
What’s more, is Feral says Reprisal will come with “a wide array of gameplay improvements inspired by later games in the series.” It doesn’t mention what these improvements are though.
Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal comes to Android this Fall
For those looking to play on Android or iOS devices, the game will be launching sometime this Fall. Feral doesn’t confirm an exact release date but it’s already almost the middle of October. So the Fall season isn’t going to last much longer. That means it’s very likely going to end up launching by December.
For Switch players the game will be launching this coming Winter. But since Winter bleeds into the first couple of months of the year, it may not hit the Switch until 2024. Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal will have 12 sandbox missions that gives players endless options for how to use Agent 47 to take out his targets.
If you’re new to Hitman games, then you already know how ridiculous some of these assassinations can get. Here’s hoping the game will have support for mobile controllers.
