Now that the Pixel Watch 2 is here you might be wondering what the price is. While the cost will vary from region to region, there are two main prices to know about for US consumers. Google will offer the Pixel Watch 2 in both Wi-Fi and LTE models. So it’s worth keeping in mind that the LTE model may end up having some slightly different pricing depending on where you get it. For example, if your carrier sells it, it may be offered at special pricing through carrier promotions.
From the Google Store however there will be one solid price for each version. Here’s what you’re looking at if you’re in the US and plan to buy the watch.
The Pixel Watch 2 price will be the same as last year
Google isn’t changing anything with the cost this year. Which is great news for anyone that held off on the original model but always wanted one. Now you can pick up the Pixel Watch 2 instead and pay the same as those who bought the original did last year. Pricing will start at $349 and that’ll be for the Wi-Fi model of the watch. If you want to go for the LTE version, that price bumps up to $399. So as mentioned, exactly the same as last year with the Pixel Watch.
Of course, this price can change depending on if you toss in some add-ons. Namely more expensive bands to swap out to. Like the new Metal Slim band which won’t be cheap. Google will also offer trade-in values for older smartwatches. The price you get back for the watch will vary by make and model though. For example, prior to the Pixel Watch 2 announcement, Google was offering $55 for a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro if you traded it in. Or $145 for an Apple Watch Series 8. Make sure to check what your trade-in value is on the Pixel Watch 2 if you decide to get the watch directly from Google.
