Google has published a new ad that is trying to convince you to switch to the upcoming Pixel 8 series device. In addition to that, an additional ad has leaked. Both of these ads are trying to get you to switch to a Pixel 8, basically.

Official and leaked Google ads are trying to convince you to switch to a Pixel 8 phone

Let’s talk about the first one, which is embedded below. This one is similar to the one Google aired about 10 days ago. It’s directly speaking to the viewer, and saying that switching phones is not scary, and then proceeds to list things that are scary. Including ghouls and goblins, horror movies, chupacabras, and so on.

That list is quite huge, and at the very end of it, the Pixel 8 appears with the tagline “Switching. It’s not so scary”. Google is obviously aiming at Apple and the company’s iPhones with this ad. Getting iPhone users to leave their phones and part of the ecosystem behind can be an arduous task.

That being said, the leaked ad contains even more info. This one has been shared by Arsène Lupin on X. It goes over reasons why you should switch to the Pixel 8, and it is trying to show users how easy it is.

The ad emphasizes that you can easily transfer your apps, contacts, music, photos and videos, not to mention your messages, whether we’re talking about SMS, iMessage, or WhatsApp.

Then the ad transfers over to features that you’ll get if you do get a Pixel. It talks about the ‘Best Take’ feature. This feature changes faces with some help from AI. Magic Eraser is mentioned, and the same goes for Real Tone, Call Screen, and more.

Now, on top of these two ads, Arsène Lupin also shared two additional ads. One for the Pixel 8 and the other for the Pixel 8 Pro. Those two ads are not as specific as the first two. They’re basically general ads for the two phones, and highlight a bunch of features. You can check them out below.
